ChangeLab, just with the magic of the online world I bumped into this interesting company. I didn't hesitate for a second to make up my résumé and motivation letter to apply for the job as 'change coach'. And well, here I am. Amazing, don't you think? Anyway, I just finished my first week and can't wait to let you all know how my experience was.
What did I expect?
It's Sunday evening and I know I will be waking up the next day with an alarm that says "Let's work". After 7 months of traveling that's a life-changer but I am, O SO, excited! Because everything is new, I knew it would take some time before I could give some valuable input. Wrong thinking! From day 1 I was brainstorming about projects to come and things to change. If you ask me, that is the best way to learn!
What did I learn so far?
As a recent graduate everything is exciting. First, I got introduced to some basic tips about Office 365. It's crazy how "email", a communication tool that I am using from when I was 14, still had some surprises. I learned how Teams, Skype, OneNote, and Outlook work and keep me in the loop. Next to these IT facts, my colleagues also taught me how changes can be approached with interesting, interactive workshops. It's fascinating how every workshop creates new output and how every client enhances different chances. I was impressed by the input, enthusiasm and teamwork during the sessions. To leave the workshop with a happy-feeling that everyone shares, there is nothing better than a good, deep brainstorm. Thank you Arthur Fry for inventing the post-it! I am sure I will be using it a lot ;)
What will I be doing the upcoming weeks?
I am sure that I won't stop learning every day and after a week like this, I can't wait to discover what. Not only by reading in books and documents but, especially, by looking at this talented team and see how they all handle it! Watch and learn, as they say! Last but not least I heard the ChangeLab-team loves apereau and, hell yeah, I am in!
What I believe?
So far, really happy that I bumped into ChangeLab and to be part of the team! And thank you everyone, for an already amazing first week!
